Hi, yes the 1.0 GB memory card will work on you Wi. I had got a 2.0 GB memory card with me camera also and I use it to store pictures and replay data from SSBB also.

SD stands for Secure Digital. It is a standard for memory storage, in direct competition to Sony's Memory Stick format. SanDisk just happens to be the biggest manufacturer of SD cards.



Any SD card 2 GB or smaller will work. However, some digital cameras (typically old ones) would apply their own file structure format to their SD cards. The Wii can reformat an SD card to use it, but such reformatting would erase any data on the SD card.
