Yes you can, on the side of the Wii you can put in your memory card and controllers which you need to have to play.

And yes you can definetly play TS2 on the Wii...

TS2 is one of my favourite games!

TS4 is coming out soon....

The Wii can play every single Gamecube game. Except in South Korea, the Wii has no backward compatibility with any gamecube game.

There are 7 gamecube games which cannot be properly 100% played on the wii:

Kirby Airride

Mario Kart Double Dash

1080 avalanche

Phantasy Star Online episodes 1 and 2

Phantasy Star Online episodes 1 and 2 Plus

Phantasy star online episode 3

Homeland.

The first 3 can use system link multiplayer which doesn't work on Wii. The last 4 are online games and the Wii cannot use the gamecube's online usage. Homeland was only released in Japan.

Ah but you also need a gamecube controller for every player and also a gamecube memory card.

And yes. yes you can play Time Splitters 2 (YEAH!!!!). The loading screens from gamecube games seem to be noticeably shorter on the Wii which is good. Because the Wii has more processing power and RAM than the Gamecube.

You can play all games for the Nintendo Gamecube on your Nintendo Wii unless they're imported from another country.

1. PAL Wiis are incompatible with NTSC games and vice versa.

2. Some PAL Wiis are able to play imported Japanese games, but not all.

3. So far from what I know, no NTSC Nintendo Wii is able to play any imported game.

4. NTSC is for the USA and a few other places, PAL is for everywhere else.

If you really wanted the answer, ask yourself this: Is the Nintendo Gamecube able to play "every old gamecube game"?

The Wii has a 99.9% compatibility rating with all Gamecube games.

The only reason I'm docking 0.1% is on the technical incompabilities that some games may require... like the Game Boy Player & the LAN adapter that is used with some games (like Mario Kart: Double-Dash!!). While it does not affect the games from playing, it does make some options inaccessible for those games.

Hope that helps!

Yes, you can play every gamecube game on the Wii. It's completely backward compatible. You can also use the Wii to download games from the other Nintendo consoles (NES, SNES, N64). Here's some reviews on the Wii in case you wanted more information about it.
