I'm interested in purchasing a Nintendo Wii, but I have one concern. In the commercials you always see people standing up and moving around to play and the problem is I have CP in my back and legs and can't stand very easily. I've heard there are games that don't require a lot of movement, and you can just move your arms to play like Super Paper Mario, but I just would like a little more info before I spend my allowence...

No, most games you do not have to move physically and can be done sitting in a sediatry postiion on your sofa. It is that physical movment in the games that make them so much more fun. People can get carried away such throwing their wiimote through, tv's window, people, etc. Always play with you strap attached, and have fun but do not get carried away.

Most of the Wii games don't require you to move around. It's basically using your arms to imitate what you're doing on the screen. You can sit on the sofa and still play the Wii.

You really don't have to stand up for any of the games. It's just an option to stand and fling your arms around like a wild monkey.

That stuff you see on T.V. is just over exaggerated moving. I sit on the couch to play unless I'm playing golf with my friends. No the Wii is not rigorous.

No, not at all. It's not rigorous, you just have to do certain motions with your arms. The remote is also very light.
