I Can't Use The Wii Shop Channel?

My wii is a version 4.3u

when i click start on the wii shop channel, it loads...then it tells me i have to update to the latest version, but my wii is already the latest version...but i try anyway, when i try to update, it takes like half an hour, then when its almost done, it stops and a box appears that says error...what should i do?

Have you connected your wii to your home internet? Without a stable internet connection the channel won't work and that is the most likely cause of the error message. I hope that helped :)

There was a specific update to the Wii Shopping Channel that was released AFTER Wii Menu 4.3.

This is only a minor update, so it shouldn't take that long... depending on your connection.
