Can you rent Wii Games online and play via the Wii?

I don't have many games for the Wii (Legend of Zelda, Sims 2 Castaway, Family Game Night and Star Wars LEGO) and I want to find out if I can rent a game online via the Wii and then play them on the wii. Is that possible? I live about 30 mins from any store so online is more convient. I really wanna get the House of the Dead games. I can't wait. THANKS for you help in advance.

None for rent, unless you use a service like Gamefly (which is like Netflix for Video games). There are games you can purchase with Wii points that can be downloaded into your Wii, but not the major titles.

you can rent the discs on some online stores

but they take about a week

theres NO way to rent a virtual game on the Wii

No, not yet if not ever there is a fine line here. Just use blockbuster game online and rent them at a monthly fee.
