The only controller you should be considering is the Wavebird. The bird was made by Nintendo (and was the first wireless controller for a console), so there will be absolutely no conflicts with the Wii. Although it is a little heavier than the standard gamecube controller, you will get used to the weight easily and will wonder how you ever played brawl or mario kart without it.

However, Nintendo no longer makes these bad boys and they can fetch up to $100 on ebay (for a platinum version), so make sure you are a wise consumer and get yourself the best deal.

DO NOT SETTLE FOR CRAPPY 3RD PARTY CONTROLLERS. Seriously, the wavebird is worth the cost.

You should try and find a Wavebird. Yes, it was discontinued, but some stores still have some. Third party Gamecube controllers are pretty bad quality.

i bought a wireless gamecube controller from gamestop for 20 bucks a couple of months ago. its like a 2.4ghz (whatever that means) and since then ive only had to put in 1 new set of batteries. i normally use it for mario kart wii, but it works for brawl just the same.

im particularly constructive the instant gamecube controllers do artwork. particularly, i'm constructive, i learn it in a assessment... I wont artwork as a action sensor, even with the undeniable actuality that it is going to artwork as a regualr controller
