What is the best Harvest Moon game for Wii?

The only Harvest Moon game I have is Harvest Moon DS, and I really like it. I was thinming about getting one for Wii, but I don't know which to get. Thanks!

There are three Harvest Moon games for the Wii. None of them are that similar to Harvest Moon DS, but they are still very fun. However, there is no best game. It is all based on opinion. You should choose the game that sounds best to you. And not what's most popular or what someone else thinks is best.



Magical Melody Wii:

This game is just a Wii version of an originally Gamecube game. In the original version you could choose your gender, in the Wii version you have to play as the male character. This game is very magical and childlike. You collect Musical Notes to revive the Harvest Goddess. Some good points are: You start out choosing one plot of land out of three but later in the game you can buy many other plots of land. You can build multiple houses. You can rearrange the furniture in your house. There are mini game that can be played as multiplayer. And you have an actual rival the you are constantly competing with, Jamie. Some bad points are the character are kind of uninteresting. Marriage is very boring and your child remains a toddler forever. Some people make irritating noises. Getting to the bottom of the mine can be frustrating.



Tree of Tranquility:

In this game you get to choose your gender. The goal of this game is to revitalize the land by getting quilt pieces and making Rainbows. At the first the town is small and there aren't that many people. But as you create Rainbows more people move in and you'll gain access to more areas. You use the Wiimote to do things like use tools. There are new animals added such as ostriches and silkworms. You can also befriend the wild animals around town and get them as your pet. There also mini-games that can be played with up to four people. There is a good set of characters and after you get married your child can actually help you on the farm. Your child will also look different depending on who you marry.



Animal Parade:

Animal Parade is like a new version of Tree of Tranquility. It uses almost all the same characters and the same style of playing. There are new features and characters added. You do not swing the Wiimote to use tools and there is only one mini-game. The story and the place where you live is also different. This time you are still trying to revitalize the land but you do it by ringing five Bells and then summoning the Harvest King. Again more people move in as you progress with the plot. There is also a circus that visits once a season. It isn't much to start but it gets better after you help find the missing animals. Your children and your spouse will help you on the farm. And your child will have the hair and eye color of the person you marry. I personally like Animal Parade the best.



There is also a Wiiware game called My Little Shop. It isn't like a normal Harvest Moon game. You run a shop and can expand it and get new items.

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade

Link is a little incorrect in his game titles. Harvest Moon Wii actually refers to Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility [Or Tree of Peace]. The title "Harvest Moon Heros" was a mistake when the game was first announced. It was announced about the same time another game did, which was entitled "Heros". Therefore, there was a little mix-up. Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility is set to release in the US 7-14-08. By the way, I love Harvest Moon too!! xP
