Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility and My Sims are similar.

There is also a game called Little King's Story which is a sim type game and it is the best game that I've ever played on the Wii.

You have to collect stuff to sell and make money to buy houses, soldiers, diggers and builders.

You fight battles and collect 100 paintings, gems and even songs that your people are singing.

There's lots more to it than that and the music on the game is fantastic.
