Yes, Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 can be played with the Gamecube controller.

To see if a game is compatible with the Gamecube controller, look in the top-right corner of the back of the game's case. There will be pictures of controllers in blue showing what controllers are compatible with the game. If you see the Gamecube controller, well, you're in luck.

Here are some Wii games compatible with the Gamecube controller:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Mario Kart Wii

Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi 2 and 3

Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn

Mortal Kombat Armageddon

Mercury Meltdown Revolution

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core

Naruto: Clash of Ninja MVZ

Resident Evil 4: Wii edition

Muramasa

TMNT:Smashup

Look on the back of the case of the game in the top right hand corner. If you see a little icon of the GC controller then you can use it. If you don't then you can't. Whatever controller icon is up there is what the game is compatible with.

Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 can use the GC controller, because it has the icon on the back:

Heres a specific one that I suggest you buy Resident Evil 4 it works with GC controller just unplug Nunchuk and plug in the GC controller in the GC port and figure out the controls :)

yeah, whatever he said about the icon on the game case. anything fighting and driving is almost certain to be compatible with the GC controller, but games that require motion control are less likely.

im pretty sure the wireless gamecube controllers do work. Actually, i AM sure, i read it in a review... I wont work as a motion sensor, but it will work as a regualr controller
