how do i sync my guitar for rockband wii?

i have pressed the guitar button on the guitar and all it does is blink and go off with no light on. the mic and drums work fine but the guitar will not sync. i have pressed all the buttons 10 different ways and still nothing happens. what buttons do i need to press or hold to get it going??

Had the same problem but got it working. This is what I did

1. Inserted the rock back disk and clicked the disc icon on the wii menu. When I did this it installed an update for my Wii.

2. Then I started the rock band game. I looked over and my guitar synced by itself.

Is your remote connector to the guitar plugged into the usb well? Maybe it is out of range. You should only have to push the big button in the little dent. Try this first and if not I would try calling the number on the box. If you odn't have yours let me know. My box is still sitting out in the trash pile from last week and I can get it for you.

Really? If that is happening read the instructions and find the phone number and call the creators
