Animal Crossing:City Folk-Appearences and Hair?

Question

I was reading an Animal Crossing guide that said that Rover(was that his name?) would ask how you look like. BUT HE NEVER ASKED ME THAT!!! I also searched up some other Animal Crossing questions that said there was a hair salon. I DON'T HAVE ONE! Why didn't I get asked how I looked like and why don't I have a hair salon in my town???? Is the salon at the city?

Ahh, so you're a neebie eh? Well, it's okay because I had the same problem. First of all (and not trying to sound rude or anything) you mis-read the guide. What it really said, was that Rover was going to ask you several questions to determine your looks. And once you get off the bus, it randomly picks what type of hair you got and everything else.



Secondly, to change your appearence and hair, you must first take the bus, and the dude would drive you to the City. From there, go look around first and explore the view. Next on the right side, there it is. But don't go too far or you'll go to some annoying cat looking thing inside another house. Anyways, the Salon has a swirling thing outside of it. Enter there and then the first time is always free, but other times are not!!

Okay, the questions Rover asks you are not straight up, "How do you want to look?" He asks you why you're moving and if you have enough money to get settled in and that. Depending on the combination of your responses, your character's appearance is determined.



As others have said already, yes, the salon is in the city now instead of inside of Tom Nook's. You have to take the bus, and the salon is the second store from the far right.

At the begining he asks you questions while you are on the bus to determine what your character will look like in the game. you do not get to pick.. and the hair salon is in the city..you have to take the bus to get there
