My WII is saying "Unable to connect to netflix at this time"?

Question

Ok, so before, we had to setup a new Netflix account, so we did. My WII no matter WHAT i did would not let me log out, and into the new account. My wii has been turned off for a couple months now, and that normally refreshes it. But when i try, i can't even open up netflix! It says "unable to connect to netflix at this time. Please try again or go to: www.netflix.com/tvhelp" and i did. Neither worked, the site had nothing that could help me. Anyways, please & thank you! :)

Ok so I had this issue too and I finally just figured it out! :) All you have to do is go into your wii memory and delete Netflix from the channel section of the wii memory AND the regular section of the wii memory. So your deleting TWO netflix data. One for the actually application and one for netflix saved data, preferences, and such. Then you should restart your wii and reinstall the netflix channel. Then you will be able to log in. I guantee this works. So excited I figured this out guys!!!!! :D

I had same issue..Go to wii settings....And screen resolution should be( wide screen) and also make sure internet is not on standby so that when you turn wii off light should turn red not yellow.... Its on same screen as slot illumination.. and thats it!.Go click on netflix again and try to connected....Next it will ask if you are a member or sign on using your email address..Hope this helps

Have you tried going into the settings and completely wiping netflix from the system then going back and installing with the disk?
