The controllers have been charged fully and all wires are connected correctly but the pointers are flashing on the screen and sometimes disappear completely. The motion sensor is in a decent position but there has got to be something wrong with either the charger, sensor or remotes (its happening to both of them). Is there something easy that I can do to fix it without paying a fortune to get it repaired?

It sounds like the sensor bar. You might want to check that it is fully plugged into the Wii and that they wire hasn't been snagged or damaged. If it has then you can either get a battery powered replacement, or another that plugs in.

You might also want to make sure there are no bright lights/leds anywhere near your TV/sensor bar. Try turning the room lights and any other lights and equipment with LEDs off, see if that helps!

You could be too far away from the screen and the sensor can pick up the signal, try going in closer

Your best bet is that the controllers are no longer synched with your system. First take of the back of the controllers, then you should see an orange button(push and hold down for 5 seconds) Secondly, open the front panel thing on the wii system itself and push the rectangular button down for 5 seconds. Do this with both remotes.

Good luck! :)

It sounds like the sensor. we have a infrared one that takes batteries and it does that when they are going flat so i would say its that. As for fixing it i wouldnt know.
