What are the best Wii games & are football games on the Wii any good?

I am looking at christmas presents for my hubby and he is addicted to football games, are the footie games on the Wii any good? Alternatively what have people found most fun on the Wii?

If your husband hasn't got them already, then I suggest you get him Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, or Metroid Prime Trilogy. All three games are great fun, but will keep him glued to the console for hours so don't expect to get much help around the house...



As for football games... Fifa 09 All-Play and PES 2010: Pro Evolution Soccer are the best games to get. Do not get him Fifa 10 as it's an awful game and he'll soon be filing for divorce... ;p



Alternatively, another really fun game is New Super Mario Bros. Wii (and it's 1-4 player so you can join in too). Hope you and your hubby have a great Christmas.

Um the football games on the Wii are not brilliant. If you do get a football game get a PES game and not a FIFA. But if you are looking for real fun on the Wii you will want Mario Kart, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit/Wii Fit Plus, Super Mario Bros, Virtual Tennis 2010.
