Question:
Why doesn't my Wii remote work anymore!?

I bought a Wii three days ago along with Wii Play, which comes with a second remote. For the past two days it worked perfectly, but now the remote that came with the Wii started acting up. Whenever I try to play any games with it, it won't detect motion at all. In tennis, he won't swing the racket. In baseball, he never stops swinging. In bowling, he won't bring his arm back or forward. In golf, he won't move his club. And in boxing, he won't throw punches. The other remote works fine, so I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the system or the sensor bar. Is there any way I can fix the remote without having to get a new one?

I had the same problem so my dad called game and they said to call nintento help line. apparently there is a little ball thing inside the remotes and when they aint been used much they sometimes stick in one place so the ball thing cant move and then your sensor bar wont pick up any movement. try pointing the wii remote to the ground then flicking your wrist to try and dislodge the ball thing. move it in a few different directions and hopefully it should work!

hope i helped.

try syncing your remote. in the slot in front of your wii there is a red Button where the sd card goes. also take the back cover off the remote and you will see another red Button. press both buttons at the same time and wait for all four of the lights to stop blinking. then only 1 light should come on showing it is the 2nd player or the first player

if you have dropped the remote it could be that the sensor transmitter could be damaged.
