I am fairly sure that nintendo have blocked the twilight hack with their 4.0 firmware, however i am wondering if there is any way to get homebrew onto my wii using another method which involves a possible downgrade of firmware. Although this seems unlikely I am just wondering im anybody out there can enlighten me? Can't help but feel i may just have to play the waiting game...

Only if you already have a launcher installed.

You cannot however load a fresh launcher because that's what requires twilight hack.

Homebrew channel is an example of a loader.

Homebrew can just be added to the SD card once your loader is in place.

No as the downgrading software can only be run through either the Twilight Hack or the Homebrew Channel.

No, you aren't any more risking your wii via living house brewing. I already have mines hacked, if it manages to break purely take it to the guy who hacked your Wii.be particular you're taking it to someone who's time-honored with the thanks to hack Wii's.no favor to downgrade to brick your Wii.
