Are there Yoshi games for Wii?

Question

Yoshi Island ( I think it is only available for gameboy's ) is probably my favorite game ever. I was wondering if there are any games for Wii, (NOT WII U!!!) that are similar. I don't want to know games that feature Yoshi but I want to know what games are mainly Yoshi.

If you could list all the Yoshi games for wii that are currently released then I will rate your answer the best ! Thanks.

There are none :( However, on the Wii's Virtual Console, you can get Yoshi Story (keep in mind that you need to have a classic controller to play it, and they do not have Yoshi's Island). There are no games specifically for the Wii that feature Yoshi. And I know that you said not Wii U, but they are making Yarn Yoshi for the Wii U, in case that interests you. I wish there was a game featuring Yoshi as the hero again on the Wii too!

No there aren't any Yoshi games on Wii. There is one being made for Wii U (Yoshi's Epic Yarn?). But Yoshi's Island for Super Nintendo and Yoshi's Story (N64) are available on the Wii Shop Channel. You can get both by buying a $20 Wii points card and downloading them from the Virtual Console (Shop Channel). But you'll need a Wii Classic controller or a Gamecube controller to play them.

Unfortunately, on the Wii there aren't any Yoshi only games. There are only games where Yoshi appears as a character in. Currently, for the Wii U, there is a Yoshi Yarn game being developed, and for the DS there are Yoshi games like Yoshi's Island DS, but there aren't many games starring Yoshi. To be honest, i wish there was another game like Yoshi's Story released. Likewise, i wished for a sequel to Luigi's Mansion, and one came. So, i'll hope that Yoshi gets some more love and another game besides Yoshi's Yarn (or whatever the final product will be titled).

i might choose for: Mario Kart Wii- considering you may play it on line or have relaxing with the relatives Twilight Princess- it somewhat is between the superb video games of the zelda franchise and it is relaxing and is the superb thank you to get into the Zelda franchise it additionally has a solid tale line. New super Mario- it is relaxing once you're fidgeting with acquaintances and relatives, yet can get uninteresting enjoying by skill of your self.
