The ports on the back can be used for only a few things.

Certain keyboards.(for the internet channel)

Microphones for certain games that need it like music games.

and Wii lan adapters.

The SD card slot in the front of the wii can be used to store downloaded Wiiware and Virtual Console games. You can also put pictures and videos on an SD and view them on your Wii. You can't really upload things from the USB ports or an SD card to the Wii.

First, the internet browser costs 500 factors, or US$5.00. 2d, the Wii does not help USB broadband instruments. it may purely get on the internet by way of connecting to the two a Wifi community, or a under pressure LAN or ethernet-based broadband modem utilising the Wii's USB LAN adapter.

The top one has only the power to charge things. The bottom one however is like a usb on a pc and can be used for adding things like a hard drive.

I have a 500gb hard drive added to mine with over 200 games on it.
