I'm sorry to note that there are NO RETAIL TITLES available in the Wii Shop channel's catalog, so you have to visit a store to actually by a physical copy to enjoy it.



The main reason is that digital games in the Wii Shop channel has a MAXIMUM SIZE OF 40 MB'S (320 blocks) & some games exceed 7 GB's... with the average size for MOST games being roughly 1 - 2 GB's a piece (or 25 - 50 times larger than the size limit). This works for Wiiware & Virtual Console titles, but that's it.

You buy it from a retail store, in other words: THE DISC.

But if you want to download it, you can softmod your Wii to download games without paying. BUT if you're not that kind of person then go ahead to a shop to buy the disc.

But really, I would go for Wii Sports Resort and Wii Remote Plus. It has more stuff in it.

OR you can get a Wii U and download Wii Sports Club from the eShop.

Unfortunately you can't download Wii Soorts on the original Wii. But you can download the new Wii Sports Club and other retail games but only on Wii U.
