If you buy the Wii Fit, do you have to also buy the Wii Console to play it?

I'm new to this Wii thing. Im trying to buy the "Wii Fit" for my dad but I'm confused as to whether its an actual game or a console. I heard its a game, so does that mean I have to buy the Wii console to play it? Or is the "Wii Fit" another type of console with built-in exercise games?

Please help!

Well... you dont necessarily HAVE TO buy the console along with it... but umm I think your dad will have a bit of a hard time playing with it, or working out how to use it. lol



It's a game, for the Wii console. The WiiFit board can also be used with other games.

lol of course you need the console. Don't worry if your having any problems finding the Wii fit and the Wii console go to http://www.pspseven.com/ I did and I bought the Wii fit and the Wii console in a bundle..
