My next door neighbor borrowed our wii remotes to play on their wii and had to sync them to their wii to make them work. We now have the remotes back and can't seem to get them to work. Does anybody know how to sync wii remotes, or do whatever you have to do to reset them back to our wii console?
Please help! Thanks (:

Open up the SD card slot in the front of your wii. When you open it you should find a red button that says sync. Open up your wii remote to where the batteries are and there should be a small red button that says sync. Now hold the sync button on the wii and the wii remote and a few seconds later it should work. Rembember to turn your wii on when you do it.

Yes, I do know how to sync them. Follow these steps to sync your WiiMotes.
1. Take the cover off the back of the WiiMote where the batteries are found.
2. Look at the Wii Console. There should be a little plastic flap to the left of the insert disc slot. Stick your finger nail into the little space in that plastic flap.
3. You should be able to see a red sync button.
4. Now look at the back of your WiiMotes. There should be a small red button. That is a sync button as well.
5. Press the sync button on the Wii Console and the one on the WiiMote at the same time and then let go of them both.
6. On the front of the WiiMote, the four blue dots at the bottom should be blinking.
7. Give them a few seconds and the should register that it is controller #1.
8. Do the same for the other WiiMote.
Hope this helped!

Press the red button on the Wii and the red button on the remote at the same time. The one on the Wii is located under the flap on the front and has "Sync" on it. The one on the Wii mote is near the batteries. Take the the cover off and it'll be a little red dot. Then like i already said press them at the same time. You should hold it for about 4-6 seconds just to confirm or wait until you see it work.

Press the HOME button on the controller
then at the bottom it should say something like sync remotes
press it and follow the instructions (press 1&2 at the same time) and it should sync
if that doesnt work, you can manually do it by opening the wii remote (the battery compartment) and pressing the red button along with the corresponding red button on the wii base.
Hope this helps
