The only way to play SNES games on the Wii is on the virtual console.

They have quite a few SNES, NES and N64 games on there, you just buy them off the shopping channel.

No you can only play wii and gamecube games on the nintendo wii. Sometimes they reformat some of the older games so they are able to be played on newer consoles, otherwise you could play SNES games on the Wii virtual console. Just go to the wii shop channel and buy the game you want.

Officially, you'll need to purchase the SNES titles through the Wii Shopping Channel as a select number of SNES titles have been added to the Wii Virtual Console catalog.

Please be aware that you'll need either a Gamecube controller OR a Wii Classic Console / Pro controller to play these titles as you'll need the extra buttons.

UNOFFICIALLY, you can softmod your Wii (WARNING: VOIDS WARRANTY) & run a SNES emulator on your Wii. However, you'll be shirking copyright laws this way in exchange for being able to play ANY SNES game through your Wii.

The only possible way is to get WiiWare games in the wii shop channel, but they cost Wii Points... and they're around 500-1,000 wii points...but any other ways can't work

What region are you in, and what form of connection are you utilising? in case you're utilising AV cables, does your television have element inputs which you will apply an element cable extremely? weird and wonderful that it in basic terms occurs on SNES video games, yet that's sounding like in keeping with threat some weird and wonderful chum-NTSC incompatibility.
