The Wii package includes:

* The Wii console itself

* One Wii Remote Controller (aka "wiimote")

* One Wii Nunchuck Controler

* A plastic stand for the Wii to be positioned vertically

* A sensor bar that sits upon (or in front of) your television

* All cables (A/V and power) needed to get it up and running

* The Wii Sports five-in-one game disc

The Wii Sports game includes: Wii Bowling, Wii Tennis, Wii Baseball, Wii Golf, and Wii Boxing. These are all relatively simple (yet fun!) games that really give you an overview of the capabilities of this new wireless controller system. The Boxing game is the only of the five that requires the Nunchuck controller - the other four all just need the wiimote. Golf and Bowling can be played by multiple players sharing one controller. Baseball can be played single player against the CPU or against another human if you purchase a second Wiimote. Tennis can be played against the CPU single player, or against and/or with up to three human companions if you buy three extra Wiimotes.

In addition to the Wii games available for purchase, you can use GameCube games directly with the Wii, as well as the Game Cube controllers that will plug directly into the Wii. You can also download older games that were originally released for the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and N64 if you have an internet connection in your home (the Wii has a built-in wireless network adaptor - if you only have wired internet, you'll need to buy a ethernet cable to connect it).

In a new Wii box you’ll get the system & hookups plus a stand and controllers: the "Wiimote", "Nunchuk", and "Sensor Bar". As for games, it comes with Wii Sports. It’s not as good as some of the other pack-ins like Mario Games, although future releases of the Wii might come with Mario games. Anyway, Wii Sports is still pretty dang good for a "free" launch title. You set up your Mii (personal avatar) on the Wii and use it to play Golf, Boxing, Baseball, Bowling or Tennis. These are all fully compatible with the motion-sensor controllers, and wouldn’t be nearly as fun if they were just regular sports games. Hope that helps!

The Wii comes with:

Wii Remote Controller (batteries included)

Nunchuck Controller

Wii Console Stand

Sensor Bar

AC Adapter

Composite AV Cables

Wii Sports

There are however many different types of bundles you can buy that will include games for a lower price than if you bought them separately.

You also get only one Wiimote with Nunchuk attachment, plus the standard set of A/V and power cables and the Wiimote sensor bar and cable. If you want to do anything multiplayer, you'll have to buy another wiimote for $40; new games are ≈$50.

If you have your Wii set up for internet access, then you'll be able to purchase and download classic games from the Virtual Console.

I think the wii like all next gen systems do not come with a game. you could probally get a budled pack that comes with a game or a special at some stores that give you a game with the purchase of hte system....like when i bought my gamecube i got marioparty 5 free with it and at that time it was still a $50 game. I think places like sam goody do that special. I would just look around and see what you cna find...

Okay, you got your console, you got your wii manual, you got your sensor bar, wii remote, wii remote cover, and Wii Sports game. I think you might have to buy a nunchuck, which is a good investment.
