I have installed the homebrew channel on my wii along with dvdx, but I still cannot play the backup copies of the games I own. When I go into the homebrew channel there are no "apps" in there if that makes a difference. I also bought a couple of games when I was in Europe, and I can't play them because they're PAL (which I didn't know at the time). I hear there is a way to play them on a NTSC system. I'm probably missing a "app" or something, and if anyone can shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

ok make a folder on your sd card called apps makes sure its apps not APPS then put neogamma in the apps folder google it make sure there is a file called boot.dol then load up neogamma and pick region options there you can set up region patching to play PAL games and also you will need CISOS Installer to install cios google as well and it wont harm your wii I play lots of PAL games

You bought a Wii to STEAL games?! This going to get complicated, so read those tutorials carefully. If you do it wrong your Wii will say: "The System Files are Corrupted" and never work anymore. You should buy atleast some of your games.

If you try to play PAL games on your US wii your wii will crash or brake.
