I'm thinking of getting it for my nieces as a belated xmas pressie (visiting them tomorrow) I think it's called Just Dance or something like that. My nieces are 4, 5 and 9, and the eldest two go to a dance school, do ballet, tap, modern etc so love dancing. The youngest loves dancing as well but just for fun. The questions I want to ask are would this game be ok for this age range? Their parents will be there supervising and helping with it so setting up isn't a problem, I just mean with the steps, how complicated they are. Also do you need a dance mat or can you just use the controllers? Any other info you can give me will be fantastic, thanks!!

Justt use the controllers =]

the Steps vary from Song to Song.

I have Just Dance and Just dance 2 and the thing i like is you can set them time. Either do a short version which only does part of the song or the full.

The short may be good to start of with and then you can see what sort of steps are used as they are mostly repeated.

Some songs involve a bit of jumping so make sure you have nothing breakable nearby.

Most of the steps are arm movements though as the wii doesnt really pick up the feet

Just Dance 2 is the most recent Just Dance game. It has different rates for how hard the the dances to certain songs are. All you have to do is hold the Wii remote in your right hand, and follow the actions on the screens. There's also tips on how to do certain actions. You can also do duets (or Duo's as their called on the game) It's also a lot of fun, I should say. I don't own the game personal, but myself and a couple of my friends played it on New Year's Eve, and played to celebrate the New year as well. So, I would say get it! :) Oh! By the way, you can get another dance game, which is called Dance on Broadway, I think. Never played that one though! :)
