How does that work? I've read that you can pay to play old games like super mario 64 and so on to play on Wii.How much are they and are the graphics better because it's on the Wii? Thanks i'm wondering because I want to buy a Wii but i want to know more first.

The wii has an online store that allows downloads from a vareity of older Nintendo systems which include the original NES, Super NES, N64 as well as Sega Genesis and Turbografix. Two things are necessary to participate. You need an internet connection to get to the Nintendo store from the Wii and points to purchase. Depending of the system, each costs different points. NES are generally 500 points, Super Nintendo are 600-800 as well as Genesis and Turbografix and N64 games generally cost 1000 points. Updates to the store are made each Monday and points can be purchased online or through prepaid cards ar retail outlets such as Target and Best Buy. The games once you download them belong to you and will not go away. In the future other consoles will be supported such as Saturn and Neo Geo.

You purchase them online through the Wii Marketplace. You can get a listing of games at wikipedia.org if you type in "List of Virtual Console Games". NES games are on average $5, SNES are on average $8 and I think N64 are $10 or $12 on average. The games are identical to their original versions.

once you get a wii, you could pass onto the wii save and purchase NES video games from a application thats already on the wii. Oh yeah, you dont desire a wii if your a huge gamer, the pics and video games suck

hi to buy those games you have to have a internet connection and then go to the virtual console channel then buy wii points (you can buy 2000 wiipoints in stores for $20 or buy 5000,1000...etc when you are online with a credit card) and then you are ready to buy:nes, super nes, nintendo 64, sega, and turbografix games
