I just bought a 320 gig hdd external to use with my wii for the usb loader. I have put my games on it and so forth, but all of a sudden it doesn't connect anymore. I hear a clicking sound within the hdd when connected to the wii and the usb loader just says "waiting for your slow hdd" !! But when I connect it to my pc with the WBFS manager its perfectly fine. Ive reformatted it already then it worked the first try now back to the clicking and slow hdd! please HELP extremely frustrating! Im just trying to save my wii collection without using the disk and this is very problematic!

Make sure you are putting your hard drive in the right USB Slot of the Wii. It only works with one of them. It has to be the USB slot closest to the edge or it will never work.

You could also try installing ios 249 if you have not.

Check out this site it helps alot.

Did you install cIOS222. Thats what I had to do to get the usb thingy to work.

i know exactly what your problem is, you have microscopic space llamas in your HDD that only **** with your wii so they piss you off and make you sound retarded, what you have to do is take your HDD and very carefully smash it with a hammer, that should fix your problem right away
