i dont think a wi-fi usb will work with the wii. I think you need a proper wi-fi router thingy (cant rem what they are called) one that doesnt plug in to a computer. Then a wii can pick up the signal easily otherwise if im wrong and it can, i would go the nintendo website for help. hope this helps, good luck x

i've got used the internet on the wii for greater or less 3 years and ive never had or considered any viruses on a wii or my wii. There are particularly no cons different than you may get a instantaneous community or have it under pressure.

I am sure it has to be the official Nintendo Wifi USB Connector. But the router is the best way to go. Go to internet settings on the Wii and select a wireless connection. Scan for your router and enter the password, that's how it worked for me.

Not sound greedy, but if you do manage to connect your Wii to the internet, Nintendo is offering this promotion where you help or were helped in getting your wii connected to the internet. Both people will receive 500 wii points to download vc games. All you do is got to the wii shop and to the promotion page, click on "was helped" and enter my friend code: 5764 3177 6586 9162, email me at mr_t_obia@hotmail.com for questions and more information. Note in order for you to get 500 wii points you have to email me your friend code.

Hoped I helped!
