Yeah you can. Sometimes the game freezes and it will burn into your TV screen and sometimes you will have to unplug the wii to stop that. Also if you throw the wii at the TV screen.

Sure if you somehow throw the Wii remote at the T.V. then your T.V. will be pretty messed up.
Also if you are using a Plasma or an LCD and you decide to pause your Wii and Leave the Wii and the T.V. on For an Whole day without touching it then there is it a chance that the image could burn into your T.V. However, this can be avoid with an option on the Wii Menu that reduces the burn in rate. Or you could just turn off the T.V. if you plan on leaving the game paused for a long period of time. That works.

A thrown Wii Remote will. People say that if the games freeze, they will mess up the TV but I have no problems with that. If a game freezes unplug the console immediately.

Nope. the image positioned onto the television won't in any way harm it. the television breaking thoughts that relate to wii is while human beings havn't used the strap and hurled the controller into the reveal.

If you throw it hard enough it can damage any tv.
