My brother was playing my Guitar Hero 3 on the Wii and the Wammy bar just stopped working. He didn't do anything weird to it and i tried to do the thing on the game to fix it but it didn't work. The batteries in the guitar are good, and the rest of the guitar is working. Do i need to get a new guitar or can i fix it somehow???

That happened to me last night during a battle with Lou. I quit the game, took out my wii remote, put it back in and started again. It was fine after that.

I certainly have occassionally been enjoying on my Wii and observed that the Whammy not works and / or it extremely is amazingly much less sensative. My rapid fix became to open up the guitar, unplug the Wiimote, then reconnect the Wiimote, and make confident the strap does not interfer with any of the buttons whilst ultimate the guitar returned up. i wish this facilitates, because it has worked for me numerous cases.

This is Activation's and Neversoft's first time making the guitar's wireless and for the PS2 and Xbox 360 guitars sometimes, because of the faulted circuitry, sometime one fret button may just stop working or the strum bar.will stop working but mostly its the whammy bar. It happens most of the time with PS2 though. I suggest you exchange it for another bundle. And the whammy bar definitely comes in handy like when you need to extract star power from long notes. So you should return it for another one "( the same thing happened to me.
