What is the currently the most fun multi-player game for the Wii?

I know everyone is waiting for Super Smash Bros. Brawl but in the meantime, which 2 player+ game should I rent?

It depends on what you want. There are several great Virtual Console games like Bomberman '93, Mario Kart 64, and Wave Race 64 with fun multiplayer. Rayman Raving Rabbids & Warioware : Smooth Moves also have great mutliplayer. I'd suggest doing some research on your own, on a site like IGN.com. Look through all the games, and get the info your want.

Smash Bros Brawl comes out Dec 3rd and the most fun multi-player game (besides Wii Sports) would be Mario Party 8.

Instead of renting, you may want to consider downloading Bomberman (TG16) on the Virtual Console. There isn't anything more fun than 5 friends trying to blow each other up.

for fun with friends i recommend Rayman Raving Rabbids. it has 70 odd mini-games in multilayer...and as an added bonus, many more in single player, for when your friends aren't there. you can play it with up to 4 players, it uses the full functions of the wii motion sensor remote... lots of fun indeed.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves is a great game for groups of people. It's so random and fun, everyone will get into it.

I just came across a site that sends you a Nintendo Wii for free! I'm ordering mine right now, can't wait to kick my friends asses in Wii Sports :)

Wii Sports probably. It won a few awards...the other one would be Warioware.
