I bought Wii Mario kart edition today and I was playing it with the remote you have to plug the steering thing into the remote. It came with the wheel but I can't figure out a way to use the wheel with the remote. I'm new to this so yeah. Anyone have it or have ever played it with the wheel because I can't figure out the point of the wheel!! I just play it with the remote...

Simply just fit the remote in the wheel. There should be a hole in the back of the wheel, put the wii remote wrist strap in there and push the remote into the wheel. Put the wrist strap on & you're all set! :]

If your Wii Remote has a "jacket", remove it.

The wheel is there so you get the "feel" of actually driving it. However, Nunchuks and the Gamecube Controller and the Classic controllers are much more efficient in driving because you can't really go perfectly straight with the Wii Wheel.

1 you take the wii remote plus thing ( the little square thing at the bottom) and also the jacket.

2 put the string thing through the hole and slide the top part to go with the little black dot on the wheel.

3. then just push the back part into place.

-to control it just turn it sideways to point to the censor for the wii.

*game controls are:

2 which is go

B(back button) /1 which is brake/ reverse/ drift( while turning)

A is look backwards

up is fire items (you can hold shells, fake blocks, bananas, bombs if you hold the button)

down is to shoot items backwards

sides are the same as up

BTW with right timing, on ramps pull your wheel up towards you and you'll get a speed boost

Lol I hated the wheel when I first got that game too! I guess they just have it to feel more...I dunno...Wii-ish....But I always use the nun chuck instead. Its wayyy more comfortable. So don't sweat it, just play comfortably. Truthfully the wheel in my house is almost NEVER even touched.

Good luck with the game and have fun! ^-^
