How to play PAL games on a NTSC Wii after installing Homebrew?

Hey! So, long story short, I bought my little sister a PAL game (One Piece Unlimited Cruise) but realized later that my NTSC wii won't play PAL games unless I hack it. I have done some research online, and figured out how to install Homebrew on my wii. Unfortunately, I don't know what steps to take next, or what Homebrew even really does or how it allows me to play PAL games. I have a SDHC card that I used to download the Homebrew on my wii. Now that it is on my wii, what steps do I need to take next?

Could you please try and simplify it as much as possible. I have done research for a few hours now and I am obviously doing something wrong. I would greatly appreciate it! :)

You need to use an app like Gecko OS or a USB loader.

Get Geck OS from here, http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Gecko_OS , extract the zip file and inside the HBC folder in the download copy the "Gecko 1931" to the apps folder of your Wii SD card. Once it is there you load it from the Homebrew Channel. It's been a while since I've used Gecko and never used it for an import game but that is one of its features. You may have to change a video setting to force NTSC output. I do know that when trying to play out-of region games it's better if you have the component cable (R,G,B, + R,W).

The good USB loaders, USBLoader GX, WiiFlow, and CFG USB Loader, can also play games from a disc but require cIOS249 to be installed. And the most used backup loader NeoGamma, can do it also but again requires cIOS installation. Not sure what guide you used but here is the best web guide and the app pack in chapter 3 has the 4 USB loaders, http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/96886-guide-softmod-any-wii.html

? is right, but PLEASE DON'T USE NEOGAMMA

It is way dated, I'm pretty sure it's still on rev 78 :/

Use Gecko OS, or USB Loader GX
