Is there a universal wii drum kit that will play on Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour?

The reason I'm asking is for Christmas I wanted to get universal controllers for both Wii Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour. I was at a GameStop and asked the clerk which drum kit would work. He told me the Rock Band 2 drum set would but I can't get it to work for Guitar Hero World Tour. Any advice or suggestions?

the rock band drumset will only work with both ghwt and rb2 on xbox 360.

i think though that the ghwt set works for both because on the front of the rock band 2 cover it says compatible with most musuc game controllers.

activision has already stated that the rock band set wouldnt work with wii.

The GameStop clerk was wrong. For the Wii, you can use the Guitar Hero drums on Rock Band 2 (but not 1), but you cannot use the Rock Band (1 or 2) drums on World Tour.

The Rock Band drums _do_not_ work with Guitar Hero World Tour on the Wii. This arrangement _only_ works with the Xbox 360. I saw many reviews that indicated that the Rock Band drums were more robust and, when reading many posts like the responses below, thought that I could just buy Rock Band and have some of the items work also with World Tour for the Wii. Sadly, none of the items for Rock Band are compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii. If you have two guitars for Guitar Hero III for the Wii my recommendation would be to just buy World Tour with drums and mic. One thing I have found that works with BOTH Rock Band and World Tour is a USB mic. I got one for Boogey and it has worked for both games so far. M :)

The Guitar hero drum kit works in rock band 2 but not rock band 1. when playing rock band 2 with the guitar hero drums, the orange cymbal pad is not used. I'm not sure if it does the other way around.
