Wii system update 4.3 and the homebrew channel?

I was about to get the homebrew channel for my wii then I realized that my wii had been updated to 4.3 I read that updating your wii to 4.3 would get rid of homebrew. Since my wii didn't have the channel can i get it now or can i never get homebrew?

Wii Menu versions 4.2 & 4.3 have now antiquated "seek & destroy" methods for the Homebrew Channel. New workaround have been found & utilized with the HackMii Installer v1.0.7. HackMii Installer v1.0.8 includes USB 2.0 support as Wii Menu 4.3 includes IOS 58, which can be utilized during the installation process.



If you don't have the Homebrew Channel prior to upgrading to Wii Menu 4.3, you can still install it, but the installation process requires one of three games that have bugs which you can exploit in order to launch the installer. It's easier to install the Homebrew Channel while running Wii Menu 4.2 or older, THEN go through the upgrade process.



The makers of the Homebrew Channel & BootMii (which are included in the HackMii Installer) will keep trying to find ways to work around Nintendo's increasing attempts to squash them... so everybody will be able to install the Homebrew Channel, if they want to.

You can use the homebrew channel. I didn't read the specifics but you will probably need Super Smash Bros Brawl and use the Smash Stack Hack

depending on what wii version you have( 4.3u or 4.3e) you will need either Lego indiana jones game(4.3e) or super smash bros brawl(4.3u)
