I downloaded Super Ghost and Goblins off the wii shop channel, but when ever i go to play, the screen is pitch black. You can hear the background music and noises, but you can't see anything. I've tried deleting it, and re downloading it, but i get the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

"Some newer-model televisions may have difficulty properly displaying some Virtual Console games downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel. If you are experiencing problems (such as a blank screen but you can hear the game's audio), please try the following:

Try changing the way your Wii console is connected to your television. For instance:

If the Wii console is connected to a VCR or cable box, try connecting the Wii directly to the TV (how to).

If the Wii console is connected to the TV directly, try connecting it to a VCR (how to).

If possible, try connecting to another TV.

If any of the above are successful, it is recommended you use the connection that works. If the Virtual Console game still did not display properly after trying different connection types, please call 1-800-255-3700 to discuss available options."

There is only one way to do it and it is super simple i don't get why you cant just download the wii shopping channel get a Wii Points Card and type in the code then just download the game you want. The other type is illegal though so i don't recommend it download a game on a sd card load it into the sd slot on the wii then download just really i don't recommend it!!!!!!!!

I am not sure but I'd try changing the screen settings on Wii settings to a different setting.

That's really strange. I would call Nintendo and ask for a refund or something. That's really strange because like you said you downloaded and re-downloaded it and it still doesn't work. Odd. So yeah call Nintendo.
