Nintendo Wii Controller...?

Question

Everyone that has a Nintendo Wii! I am a little apprehensive about buying the Nitendo Wii because of the controller. I really think that the traditional controller with two hands would be much more comfortable. Have you had experiences with the Nintendo Wii controller? And after using it did you find it really different from the standard controller for an Xbox or a gamecube?

look its like using one of thoses trackless mouses. Great fun altough it sucks with some games. Nintendo games al work well and they also give you a classic controller too

Oh man, lemme tell ya. Nintendo made this new and cool controller for a reason. It's awesome! It makes you feel as if you're IN the game. For those who don't really prefer the controller, there are some games that support use of the Classic Controller, which looks just like a two-hand-held controller. The Wii's remote is so cool because it reacts perfectly, rumbles, makes sounds, and you can do SO much with it! I love my Wii to death, and the main catch of the system is it's innovative controls!

though different the controller is very easy to learn how to use! When you turn it sideways it plays like a classic nintendo controller and when you connect the nunchuk it plays like a 64 controller but motion sensitive......I like the design much better because your actual movements control your actions and it seems more natural for example in basebal you hold the controller like a bat and swing at the ball bowling you swing back and bring it forward just like you would do a bowling ball......it's a great system

Its actually more comfortable than the traditional controllers, and a lot more versatile, it can actually be used as a standard type controller by turning it on its side, I play some of the virtual console games this way.

NO I love the wii and yes it is different but for some games you have to buy a numchuck for and that is like using the old fasion controllers....just seperated. and that is a more comfrontable. (to me ) you can just like move around more and you don't have to be a standard postion all the time.

right i just got used to the wiimote and the nunchuck though but what u said works too
