What I did was watch the UPS driver drop off a shipment at the local Game Stop. I whipped in there after the guy left and asked the clerk if he had a WII in stock and I walked out with it under my arm.
You may have to stalk UPS at a store near you.

Ahh yes. You are not the only person in search for a Wii. Do this: call up your local video game store (it could be anything from a EB Games to a Wal-Mart) and ask them if they know when the next shipment is due. If they don't know, keep asking. Call back everyday until they let you know. When you do know the date, show up there at least 30 minutes before release. Enjoy your Wii!

It depends now. I got mine randomly in the Best Buy in Manassas, VA. I was just ... there at around evening time and a new boxload of Wii's came in. XDDD I guess that was just luck. Oh, and it also depends where you live. I hear rumors that Walmarts restock about 9 Wii's every Sunday, but HEY it's a rumor. Actually, B4 the day I got one, way before, the Best Buy workers told me something about restocking them Sundays, too. I'd go ask. Best of luck to you!

Try calling stores on Sunday morning to see if they have it. I got mine on a Sunday and by luck, EbGames had some when I got mine. :)

It's different from store to store, so you will have to check back at that store often, maybe once a week or so.
